No winner for best Game Review or Analysis? Gee, there were a lot of good articles in ATO this year.

There was no clear winner this year with a 7-way tie. Hopefully next year.

No DTP awards either? I didn't see them at all and.....well, I have a stake in it! hehe

...and now that I posted the above, I see the DTP winner!

Thanks!

Suprising Eric Grenier's "Distant Foreign Fields" didn't win for best DTP. I never bought it, but with all those pretty glossy ads in ATO I figured it would beat Bill Ramsay's "high school art" hands-down.

Eric's game was eligible as it wasn't out last year. These awards are for games released in 2004. He should win next year I think.

Kris -- Eric's masterpiece isn't up for CSR awards until next year (it was published this year, 2005). Save your vote until then ;-)

Kris,

As has been posted, DFF won't be eligible until next year. I have to talk to Eric, but I am not sure that his game is DTP, but professional instead, so it might be in that category instead (Best Pre-WW2 game).

Bill's artwork may not be the best in the world, but, at least by popular acclaim, the
associated game was rated the best. Remember, it's the entire package that people are judging.

Well, I'm sure Eric has enough posers that he'll win next year, no matter what category his masterpiece is entered in.

Kris,

It's all up to the voting public. Me, I just receive and collate the votes.
