Introducing the CSW Social Network
Thanks to continued members support, and in an ongoing effort to offer new services to our members, CSW is pleased to announce the official launch of their social networking platform: social.consimworld.com. Sign-up for free today!
Now, for the first time, all members can contribute content via the blog interface. You can also quickly sign-up and build your "Friends" network, and create Groups that focus on various interests relating to gaming (such as game club). The possibilities are nearly endless in reaching out to gamers and networking in new and powerful ways, and the CSW social network is based on Web 2.0 best business practices to ensure an enjoyable user experience.
As a starting tip, we encourage you to complete your personal profile and customizing your profile page. You can then add or join Groups, and invite your Friends to the network or place your own Friends request with those already online. You can then contribute in many ways; post your own blog entries for all to see (or set them up for private access), create forum topics, upload photos, audio files, images and much more.
The network is highly configurable, so be sure to view the Help link to learn more about the platform. We also encourage you to configure your personal settings so you only receive e-mail notifications based on certain network activity. This site has been in a limited beta release for little less than one week, and we are pleased to see the amount of sign-up activity already generated.
We now invite you, all CSW members and boardgaming enthusiasts in general (yes, this includes BGG members!) to join in on the fun and continue to build a strong consim community. There is no fee to join.
P.S. And, yes, the CSW Forum and Newsdesk is not going away...this is a unique, new member experience that will stand on its own as part of the overall portfolio of CSW services offered.
