THE COMING STORM QUAD Preorder
Now available for preorder from Operational Studies Group. The Coming Storm is a quadrigame of the Fourth Coalition, October 1806 - June 1807. Battles covered include: Jena-Auerstädt, Pultusk/Golymin, Eylau, and Friedland. This quad game is in the tradition of Napoleon's Last Battles and Four Lost Battles. The scale is exactly the same at 525 yards per hex and one hour turns. Units are brigades. Like Four Lost Battles, units are also hidden unless they are visible to the enemy. Vedettes are used as scouts and to confuse the enemy. Cards are also used to create the fog of war, because nobody knew his opponent's TO/E or Order of Appearance. Preorder Price: $84 (a savings of $48!). [Join Discussion | Wikipedia]

Dumb Question. I thought OSG closed up shop a while ago. I think I even ordered a game or two from their final sale. I've been playing mostly miniatures for a few years now so somehow I missed this news. What's the story about OSG?
Thanks

A New Game From OSG ...
In writing Special Study Nr. 5, I created a tactical-level game just to help me visualize certain pivotal moments in the battle of Jena. It is quite useful to have units to actually push around while you are writing. Gradually, the idea morphed into a 4LB-scale series of games on Jena-Auerstädt, Pultusk-Golymin, Eylau, and Friedland. Jason has been playtesting revisions to Four Lost Battles for the past year, and this groundwork will be very useful. We are busy creating the counter mix and all four 22" x 34" maps now. All our research is already done and in useful form (the Special Studies). Please join in the discussion...
