"Excellent game!! Freakin' Awesome in fact. Great rules for cavalry vendettes giving cav historically accurate recon and screening missions. Great for 3 player also, wonderful rules regarding communication between the allied commanders. Highly recommended."

"This game's graphics beg you to play it, and the mechanics will be no surprise to anyone who has cracked open 6 Days of Glory. The rules are a smoothe read, with all optional rules (such as hidden units/vedettes) indented throughout the text in the critical spots. The contest is a tough one, too, built around that traditional nutcracker problem facing the Emperor. In my few games, much has depended on the initial Anglo initiative chit, with a slow advance buying some much needed time to deal a fatal blow to the Prussians. I'll be playing this game for a long time. It's on my top ten list, now. It's a game with a perfect scale, price tag, and replayability level, making it an excellent addition to any gamer's Waterloo library."

"This is a nice game, that can be set up and played quickly, with enough period flavor in it to make it worthwhile. One step up from what I would consider a beer n' pretzels game. Map and counters are very nice and a big improvement over La Guerre. I'm looking forward to playing it some more and giving it a good workout. Best described as a well done update of AH's old Waterloo (which I no longer own and so therefore cannot directly compare - but that is my impression)."
