"The new edition has almost everything the old one was missing! Very nice map, especially in Russia! Great updates to the rules! Just started to play and new units and the Allied production really make the game. The optional purchase of starting forces make for very interesting strategies, now no one knows what to expect!"

"Interface and graphics could be improved a little. Have encountered a few minor bugs involving political points. Other than that, it's the best thing since sliced bread. You don't need an entire room dedicated to the game for a couple of years, nor do you need to reschedule 3 people's lives to meet every week for those years. The enhancements from the original boardgame version are very well done and go a long way toward fixing most of the things that were wrong with my all time favorite."

"This is my favorite game of all time, the ONE game I would take on a desert island if I could. Why? The scope allows for playing of small scenarios (including roll your own, such as invasion of Spain, Turkey, etc.). Although the rules are straightforward, there are many many subtle interactions. And you are not stuck with historical armies, you can build one to fit your plans. It is truly awesome to see the Blitzkrieg in Poland, France or Russia. And the air war does not take an hour per turn. The edge of map problems that occur in many games just do not happen here."

"Excellent system that allows one to examine the major campaigns of WWII in Europe individually via the Standard Scenarios or as a whole in the Campaign Games. The players can focus on strategic decisions with a good feel for operations without getting bogged down with too much unnecessary detail. Did find a few mistakes in the rules but nothing that couldn't be readily resolved. Highly recommended for any student of WWII that wants a playable game on the entire war."
