Here's what past attendees are saying about ConsimWorld Expo

The best gaming with the best people in the best location. — John Loy

CSWX: Wargaming Heaven - The people are great, the games are big and juicy, and the microbrewery is wonderful. — Don Johnson

CSW just keeps getting better. I cannot imagine ever missing this annual event. — Rick Young

As I shovel out New Jersey snow, and then come inside, I think of the warmth of Tempe in May, and can't wait. The key part of the warmth that makes me eager is that of the fellowship of gamers all gathered together to play: not to win, not to gain bragging rights, but to play our games and enjoy each other. It is, to my mind, the most enjoyable gaming experience of the year! — Bill Cooper

ConsimWorld Expo and the MonsterGame.CON has been my convention of the year for the last three years. I have met big names in wargaming and some new friends as well. My brother is going to be disappointed when he has to find a Best Man in 2004. — Skip Franklin

Consimworld Expo 2004 will prove to be the finest and most exciting gaming convention to date. The monstergamer is the big winner here, as everything revolves around us, our games and our enjoyment. — Nathan Kilgore

Well, what else can one say about THE event in Monster Gaming, perhaps gaming Cons anywhere; All superlatives have been used...this will be my 4th tripand I can only say that each year gets better! The HUGE playing area (3 DAKS set up this time!) & allowing two of GMT's entire East Front campaigns to be played, a Streets of Stalingrad game, etc..Free Breakfast every morning / Game Drawings worth hundreds of dollars GIVEN AWAY, game designers discussions and Game Demos by the Designers themselves and finally the camaraderie of all of us with similar likes (did I forget FUN!!) DO NOT miss this...no excuses this time!! So Mr. Kranz, what surprises are in store this year, I CANNOT wait. — Larry McIntire

To me, CSW was the perfect gaming experience (even better than WBC). You wake up at a nice hotel and the only thing you need to do all day is fight cardboard battles by playing your favorite wargames against seasoned veterans. Who could ask for anything more? Loved it. — Tim Hall

The Consimworld Expo continues to be the BEST wargaming experience I've ever had, and I've pushed around a lot of cardboard stacks. What an awesome convention. — Gregory Smith

I wasn't sure as I got on my flight to AZ for CSW Expo 2003 if it would be a good time or not. But my doubts were erased even before I got to the convention hotel. I meet a group of gamers at the airport and took a shuttle to the hotel with them. I was in full gaming mode by the time we got to the hotel and had a gaming time, I eagerly anticipate the 2004 event! — Ric Van Dyke

Truly a terrific convention. John puts on a first class show all the way and there is nothing like it anywhere else. If you only go to one game convention, this should be your choice. — Adam Starkweather

CSW Expo is just what's needed after a long cold Minnesota winter. The weather is hot and I get to play games all day and night. And, the games are those I normally will not have the chance to play! The site is excellent and the buffet breakfast/seminar cannot be beat. Plus, there are door prizes, a small dealer area, new games to be tested and more hobby personalities than you'll be able to visit with in four days. — John Alsen

Best location, best staff, best games, best people, best times...what more can you ask! Each one is better than the one before and the first beat any Origins or GENCON I've ever attended (over 25). Plan to be here or live in regret. — Robert Sanders

I eagerly look forward to Consimworld each year -- there's no better place to play really big games all weekend long! — Tony Zbaraschuk

Don't know how I can express the sentiment that I hold from last year as it was very concrete in terms of its causes and effects. I was all set to play both Empires in Arms and I was a back-up player for L'Battaille de Lutzen. Due to defects both human and game mechanics respectively, both games came tumbling off the game tables on the 2nd day. You'd think that was the end of the Con for me, but I was able to play a game of Nero, that night, and then a full scenario of Rise of the Roman Republic the next day, and finished an Simple Great Battles of History game of Zama (And I won 2 games out of 3!). So, I actually came out ahead... — Josef Priller

Well, it's that time of year that we've all been looking forward to, CSW Expo 2004! John Kranz has done a fabulous job running the previous three Cons. and I am for one already planning which game I will be playing. Expo 2004 is in my opinion the best Boardgame Con. that anyone could attend. I encourage any and all to come and share in the ultimate Boardgaming extravaganza. See you all in May! — Jeroen Koopman

ConsimWorld Expo 2003 was my first gaming convention in years. The facilities were first-rate, there was plenty of time to see and watch numerous wonderful "monsters" come out and play, and I directly enjoyed Totaller Krieg and a number of shorter games including DiFlames (which I was cannon fodder in...). I recommend this convention to many in my local group and we should have a larger Minnesota contingent next year. Repeat business is a pretty strong endorsement! — Steve Viltoft

Well run conference in an excellent facility with the focus on: Playing. Great gaming in a comradely atmosphere with about the best chance ever to see the 'Big Daddies' laid out and put to the test. — Morris Hadley

CSW Expo is the premier historical war board gaming event. If you enjoy board games or want to learn more about them then attending the CSW Expo is a must. Don't delay make reservations today! — John Spalding

This con is fantastic, the facilities top notch, and I had the most wonderful time. I got Richard Berg to sign my copy of "Red Badge", so that was cool, and I got to see a ton of big monster games getting played. Mission accomplished.  Consimworld Expo is by far the best Con going. — Fred Hoff
