Jay Dryer is the creator of a new Web site that offers a service many ConsimWorld.COM members will find of interest: a dedicated Wargames Auction Board!
It is entirely free and easy to use. It's destined to be a great place to unload some of those games that may be picking up dust, but would be very useful to another gamer, or perhaps you will find that game you have been looking for at a great price!
As stated at WargamerHQ:
This auction is free for both sellers and bidders. Please support the website through your participation and contributions and it will remain that way. The goal here is to enhance the enjoyment of our hobby!
Here are some of the distinguishing characteristics of this new Auction Web site:
1) No member registration fees, whether buying or selling.
2) The categories are specific for wargaming only (additional categories can be added by request).
3) The auction length can be set from 1-14 days and the bid increment can also be set (It is not dependent on the starting price).While eBay is surely the rave of the Internet Industry when it comes to auction boards, Jay Dryer has stepped up to provide a dedicated Web site designed specifically to satisfy the needs of the consim enthusiast. The site does delve into a lot of different areas as well, such as a store locator, player locator, discussion board, etc. However, most of these services are provided by other Web sites for some time now (Web Grognards, for example). If WargamerHQ.com focuses on promoting its Auction Board and ties its Discussion Board service to promoting games up on the selling block as well, this could be another URL that every consim enthusiast, and game collector, will want to add to their Browser bookmark list.
