Considered by many the most anticipated release of Fall '98 (largely due to its delay) other than GMT Games' BARBAROSSA: ARMY GROUP CENTER, 1941, Clash of Arms has now released the much-talked about monster game on Gettysburg, SUMMER STORM. This represents the initial game design of noted map artist, Rick Barber, who has spent countless years researching the battle and a game system to portray it.

Online discussions have reiterated points made earlier that there are several new design concepts introduced with SUMMER STORM. Early returns from those now playing the game indicate a thumbs-up on the system and nuances regarding command control, once getting over the initial learning curve. Rick Barber is now working on a special game support site to provide New Scenarios, comprehensive Questions and Answers, and an in-depth Example of Play to assist players in familiarizing themselves with the system.
