1904-05, THE RUSSO JAPANESE WAR

The next volume of GREAT WAR AT SEA will be 1904-1905, THE RUSSO JAPANESE WAR. The complete 1904-05 war will be included on 70 Long and 140 Short counters, an extra large strategic map covering all of Japan, Korea, Russian Siberia, and some Chinese ports. This map will overlap with US NAVY PLAN ORANGE. Also included in a world navigation map for the Russian Baltic Fleet to use to get to the Far east.

New rules include Crew Fatigue and adjusted pre-dreadnought eyeball sighting range.

1. Japanese Torpedo Attack on Port Arthur (Feb 8-9 1904)
2. Battle of Port Arthur (Feb 9th 1904)
3. Battle of Chemulpo (Feb 9th 1904)
4. Action off Port Arthur (Feb 25th 1904)
5. Destroyer Action off Lao Ti Shan (Mar 11th 1904)
6. Destroyer Action off Port Arthur (Mar 11th 1904)
7. Battle of Round Island (Aug 10th 1904)
8. Battle of Tsushima Straights (Aug 11th 1904)
9. Action off Korsakovsk (Aug 20th 1904)
10. The Battle of Tsushima (May 27th 1905)

What if scenarios include...

11. Battle of the Sea of Japan (June 1st 1905: the combined Russian Fleet)
12. Battle of the North Sea (Russia vs England) Nov 1904)
13. The Great Alliance vs Japan (Russian and France vs Japan, Mar 1904)

1904-1905, , THE RUSSO JAPANESE WAR will probably be available for Christmas but we are looking at the schedules closely to make sure this will work. Also, there will be a secret 1999 product for ORIGINGS '99! Stay tuned.

The long awaited advanced rules option for GWAS plus scenarios for all the GWAS products, and some additional ships will be issued in 1999 in booklet form. No price yet but we will keep you posted.

Third game in the Eagles of the Empire Series will be released in 1999. A revamped rules system and improved counter look make this a must have for the Eagles gamer!
