Upcoming Releases and Special Book Offer from Critical Hit

COMBAT! NORMANDY from Critical Hit will be available for ORIGINS. The new game begins CH's system for playable squad-level action. Despite the ease-of-play approach, the first Combat! module introduces some interesting concepts not seen in its competitors. These include: 'by the book' machine-gun rules representing fixed, searching and traversing fire; artillery bracketing; Infantry platoon movement; rally points and new ordnance and penetration data supplied by legendary researcher Hal Hock.

This first module covers the fighting of the 82nd Airborne Division in Normandy. The second module will move the action to the East Front with Combat! Stalingrad.

SPECIAL BOOK OFFER!
Author and soldier Bob Murphy has a story to tell you and we think it's a pretty important one. In his new book, "No Better Place to Die" Murphy takes the reader to the battlefield of la Fiére, Normandy, June 6-9, 1944. It's a tight and exciting read and we think it's especially timely as we head off to celebrate Memorial Day here in the USA (and others celebrate the brave men and women that died for freedom in their own lands) and Bob heads back for what may be the last great reunion of WW II 82nd veterans in Normandy.

We'd like to see you get a copy of Bob's new book. So much so, Critical Hit is running a Memorial Day Special Offer. Place an order for our upcoming Combat! Normandy game (full product only), or _any_ All American module (Kellam's Bridge, Timmes' Orchard or Shanley's Hill) between now and June 1, 1999 and we'll send along a copy of "No Better Place to Die" (a $15.95 value) at no additional charge. Use the ordering page at www.CriticalHit.com and the new check box added to get your book. These games literally play out of the pages of the book.

Bob's book arrived yesterday and is ready to ship now. Combat! Normandy is at the printer and ships just before ORIGINS (or you can pick up your copy at ORIGINS if you make arrangements with us by E-mail) and the All American modules are in stock ready to ship now. We think this is a great way to try the CH product line with our All American series and cut through the noise for a first hand kick of the tires! What's more, for your $24.95 (or $29.95 for Combat!) purchase price you'll get this $15.95 book at no additional charge.

"No Better Place to Die" totals 128 pages, including 8 page glossy photo section in the center of the book. Color cover. Perfect bound.
