Line of Departure Fall 1999 Issue Now Shipping

Jim Werbaneth, publisher and editor of Line of Departure wargame quarterly, announces that Line of Departure Issue 32 (Fall 1999) is printed, and is now in the process of being mailed to subscribers. It features strategy/analysis articles of The Legend Begins and the S&T game The Franco Prussian War, plus optional rules to Avalon Hill's Richtofen's War, and a scenario for Raid on St. Nazaire. In addition, OnLine of Departure Support presents a scenario for Harpoon, available for free downloading, and a look at the reborn Paper Wars magazine.
Finally, the editorial, The Bully Pulpit, covers publisher Jim Werbaneth's recent travels to military- and naval-related sites in southern England. This is also available on the web, with enhanced color illustrations.

Line of Departure has been in publication for nearly eight years,
presenting board and computer game reviews, analysis, scenarios,
variants and news. Line of Departure is published four times per
year. An annual subscription costs $20.00 in the United States
and Canada, and $25.00 elsewhere. Single copies of all issues
are available, at cost of $5.50 to American and Canadian customers
