PAPER WARS Adds Award-Winning BROG Publication to its Arsenal

As announced October 8, 1999 at the ConsimWorld Discussion Board - the five-time award winning newsletter, "Berg's Review of Games" (BROG), a hobby fixture since 1991, was acquired by "Paper Wars" (PW), the eminent review magazine edited by John Burtt. Although final details are still in working stages, PW will get the right to use the logo BROG, as well as having its owner, Richard Berg, provide at least two reviews, plus the infamous Little Mac Awards, per year.
Both companies will be sending out notices to their subscribers detailing what the transfer means to them, individually. In the meantime, ConsimWorld.COM has learned of the following details regarding the transition for subscribers.
All BROG subscribers who are already Paper Wars subscribers will have their PW subscriptions extended at a rate of one PW issue to every two BROG issued owed. (the difference is simply due to the size of the publications). All BROG subscribers who are not PW subscribers will receive a single PW issue subscription for every two BROG issues owed, starting with issue #33. Naturally, there is no impact of this acquisition for those PW subscribers who are not presently subscribed to BROG, other than the fact that they will now be able to enjoy the format of BROG which has been the recipient of the Charles S. Roberts Awards for best Amateur Publication.
