OCS Game Series Hits "Rough" Terrain with BURMA

BURMA moves the Operational Combat Series (OCS) game system to the China-Burma-India (CBI) theater's jungle. This is the most detailed look at this forgotten theater of World War II. Here in the jungles of Burma, the Imperial Japanese Army attempted to open the road into India. That offensive stopped in the combined Battles of Kohima and Imphal. Turning the tide of the Japanese advance were the raiding operations of the Chindits and the Chinese advance down the Ledo Road, spearheaded by Merrill's Marauders (code name GALAHAD). Veteran Japanese troops bitterly contested the two pronged Allied drive into Northern Burma.

BURMA takes the OCS system into a field it has not addressed before: infantry actions in dense terrain. This theater is wildly different from others in World War II. Here you see mule supply trains, elephants, air supply operations, limited fire support, infiltration operations, and fighting in some of the worst terrain on earth. Burma is a chess match where the skilled players are rewarded in their aggressive and skilled use of small numbers of air and ground forces- a major challenge to all levels of players. A good time involving attacks, defenses, air landings and special operations will be had by both players.

BURMA is the sixth game in the Operation Combat Series. Giving the operational detail and quality play rewards for which the OCS is legendary, Burma follows in the foot-steps of other award winning games in this series such as DAK, Enemy at the Gates, and Tunisia. Burma makes a great starter for those new to OCS due to the limited number of troops involved.

Note: This is a limited edition, ONLY 2,000 copies will be printed.
