WAR OF THE AGES Next Scheduled Release for Triumph Game Company

The sales of BY FORCE OF ARMS and TO FORGE A NATION steadily continue, and the release of WAR OF THE AGES (WOTA) is imminent (meaning, by Origins 1999). For the uninitiated, WOTA is a noncollectable card game simulating the simultaneous clash of history's greatest leaders and forces. ("Oh crap! My Hoplites under Bobby Lee are being flanked by Hannibal and his Samurai.") The sequence of play consists of initiative determination followed by three rounds of player actions, which are greatly governed by leader rating. Actions mainly consist of move, assault, fire, or change mode.

STARSLAVERS (strategic space exploration with tactical combat where interplanetary press gangs "recruit" aliens for arena combat) is riding the heels of WOTA.
