Decisive Battles series by TPS

New from Turning Point Simulations. All 20 of the battles or campaigns in the famous Mitchell/Creasy text, Twenty Decisive Battles of the World, will be released by TPS over a five year period, four games per year. The Series developers have chosen to NOT go sequentially but spread out each year’s release to cover a range of periods. The first four games will cover the battles or campaigns at Tours, Poltava, Stalingrad, and Joan of Arc’s actions in the Hundred Years War.

TPS is offering the series in several fashions, the first being a single package price for all 20 games (plus a ‘bonus’ 21st battle that they believe might have been in the next edition if the book were modernized). This one price varies according to location, as it includes all shipping costs. Buyers can lock in the price now and enjoy 4 games per year without any increases. There is also a “honeymoon” option that lets gamers sample the first four games and opt in for the entire series later, still receiving the complete series discounts.

“20 Decisive Battles” Comes to the Gaming Table

Turning Point Simulations (TPS) is now releasing the first four wargames in their series covering the Mitchell/Creasy military history classic, “20 Decisive Battles That Changed the World.” TPS will release the entire series four games per year, with a single price covering all 20 games (and a bonus 21st). Rather than follow straight chronology, each year’s release will include a variety of periods, beginning with actions from Joan of Arc, Charles Martel, Charles XII, and the campaign for Stalingrad. TPS is operated by the same folks who have produced Against the Odds Magazine since 2002. The series aims for fast-paced games with high re-playability.
