As discussed on here, I think if a tournament scene is to work, there are 2 must-haves: Balance (gamers will always break your system if something is undercosted) and scope. What I mean by scope is, you can’t just have a tournament scene for ACW.. you would want to take a page from the Ancients tournament scene: Have one ruleset (which you already have) but make a TOTAL LIST of armies, and that they could play vs one another. So your points/special rules need to accommodate FIW force facing across from a Zulu horde. If Warlord can pull this off, I think itll take off more than just the ‘casual’ games you see at cons. You want a tournament scene if you can pull it off at this scale. Also, my wallet will not be happy with ECW Covenanters in this scale 🙂
